Our moment this week comes from our visit last weekend to one of the local sugar houses! http://ouronesweetfamily.blogspot.com/2014/03/this-moment-in-sugar-house.html
YUM! we missed out the sugar festival this year. Always such a treat! Our Enki curriculum has a lovely nature story about sugaring time, and my daughter wants to hear it, mulitple times, this time of year.
love this. you said over on soulemama that they're a decade apart. i love that they have this in common. my sisters are - at the closest - 13 years older. we didn't have very much in common. knitting. bless it. such a lovely, bonding pastime. thanks for sharing!
here's my moment if you'd like to visit: http://homespired.blogspot.com/2014/03/this-moment_27.html
aww.. sweet baby snuggles. You're so right! I miss those a ton. My older daughter makes an effort to play board games, read, paint, model clay, etc. with her sister. I'm so thankful that she recongnizes the importance of time togehter, now, while they have it!
Perfect moment. It's so good that they can share moments together like this. I was with my husbands family last weekend, his oldest sister is ten years older and they still love to spend time together. Have a wonderful weekend. debx
I really savor this time, and am so glad that my eldest takes the time to spend with her little sis. I especially love that they've both taken to knitting. Eldest wasn't interested for a long time!
Love, love, love this!
